Default Hurst billet shifter

I was just on a web site that said they had the Hurst Billet Competition Plus shifter in stock. Price 259.00 dollars. Is anyone aware of this shifter being released now?

I'll do you one better. How does $199 sound? Will be released Jan 31st!

Dagostino has had that shifter on their site since last April. Like Jeg's, they have just been repeatedly changing the ship date every few weeks. I honestly don't know if this thing is ever going to get released. I'll believe it when I see one in a car.

Last I heard it was not in production and may not ever. They fixed the directions for the first model which I guess fixed many problems that they were having. The billit version was going to take its placeI thought. Could be wrong though.

The place is in New Jersey, if anyone lives near this place how about checking this out and let us know. Speedy Car is a hint, if they're not a sponsor on this forum I can't give out their web address.
