Anyone looked under their stangs lately?

Anyone looked under their stangs lately?
Have you looked carefully under your stang lately?? I was going over the undercarriage with to do some rustproofing and I counted at least a dozen places where boltholes were exposed with no bolts in them! Every other bolthole in my transmission assembly were open, parts of the frame were unbolted, etc. Is this normal??? If it is, what can we say about Ford reliability???

Mine is like that too, I think it'll be fine.
They probably designed the frame with more holes than it needed so they could apply it to different car bodies or part-options if need be. As long as your car isn't falling apart, you'll be okay.

The frame is based off the Thunderbird, Lincoln LS, Jag S-Typeplatform. Each of those vehicles has different mountings to the frame so what you see is normal.
Put it this way. If something that was supposed to be mounted to the frame was not bolted on, you'd have found out a while ago when something catastrophic occured.

haha...no scoop on mine. Its the way it came. The scoop isn't part of the CS package, but instead part of the GT appearance package (I think...)I plan on getting the Shelbyhood so I'm happy that I didn't pay for the scoop.
