FRPP HOOD PINS

RE: FRPP HOOD PINS
Mine ended up about 1/2 inch short. I'm not sure of the total length right now. I'll get back to you on that (I'm supposed to be doing homework right now).
Someone on this forum took some threaded rod and a welder and made his longer. That would probably be a better bet. I'm not sure if the extensions were stainless steel, but I guess it would not matter if it wasn't showing anyhow (the extensions would all be under the nut/radiator support).
Also, I do have a thicker fiberglass hood, but others with the stock hood have come up short with the Ford pieces as well.

Thanks - looks like yours are in the same place as the GT-H. There must be some that can install there without adding extra length. I'll do some research since I like hood pins but would not like to have to do any mods - good job though and thanks for the heads up on those.

I have hood pins as well and they were 1/2 short too... needed to modify a little but they are great now ... it helped out mine with the hood flex but I'm getting a new hood so we'll see how well it workd on that
