[align=left]The only issue that I can relate to is the CD player. I really HATE mine. First, what's the sense of having a 6 disc changer that doesn't shuffle discs??? Annoying. Second, mine will also skip occasionally. Anyone use a car adapter iPod kit in their Mustang? Opinions?

The airbag is designed to turn off if a child is riding in the passenger seat. It's a safety feature. The bookbag, package, etc, simulates a child's weight and disables the airbag.

Re Water From Your Exhaust --
All gasoline engines create water through the exhaust. The engine generates heat through the exhaust, which creates condensation from the air moving through the engine. When it's cold out, you will notice even more condensation.

This effect might be more apparent with larger engine like the Mustang's 4.6 L, compared to something smaller like a Civic.

my77stang, I am not sure if the dealer will give you a run around, mine didn't. I showed them and they took it in back and fixed it no questions asked. So hopefully whoever you go too will do the same.

'06 auto. GT, 3 k miles here.

I have slight squeaking noises where the side windows meet the weatherstripping. (both doors). Doesn't happen all the time either

Hood slightly moves upward on the driver's side at 70+ mph

Thats it really, no real issues!

As for the water off the tailpipes, thats normal, condensation is a by product of combustion, especially the more efficient the system is running.

#3 Water at the exhaust: I notice on day when I go to work and I am walk up to the Bank, I turn around and there are small puddles of water (liquid) on the ground near the muffler or so...but it hasn't been wet?
My guess is condensation...Mine is an '06 GT with around the same mileage. Ive really only noticed mine on really cold days....

#4 CD player: it just sucks, sparatic skips...doesn't play mp3's well...etc.
I replaced my Shaker 500 with an Alpine head unit, before it stats skipping and farting and what not....

Overall a great car! Had her 8 months now, I try not let the little things annoy me....IMO it gives her personality.

I get the rattles quite a bit unfortunatly... What I do try and do is just keep telling myself to excuse it because its a Ford not a Ferrari, but I still get a little upset about it occasionaly..

Have the rattles, and the airmix problem (When I want it to blow on the floor only it still blows as if it were selected on defrost and floor...).
Two dealers have told me numerous times that the airmix problem is normal, the car was designed that way. What a crock. I keep taking it back. Eventually they might accidently fix it. I even had the service writer go to another mustang with me and compare the 2. He agreed with me. The service manager however stuck with his line of it is normal. Time to write to Ford.

The rattles come and go, and when it is in the shop they tell me they don't hear it. Possible, I suppose, but again it has been back several times and I have only mentioned the rattles when I hear it on the way in.
