Luckily for me, my mom starts my car in the morning about 5-10 minutes before I go to school.

Buy a axle-back exhaust to cover up the noisy engine. Loudmouth's or stingers work well for this.

Hey Maybe his Mom just likes the sound of a V8, [sm=funnypostabove.gif]

I can't get my mom to make coffee in the morning, so maybe he's lucky

Does she still dress you and make your lunch too? [sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=laughat.gif]

This noise may be 100% normal, it may be due to carbon on the tops of the pistons and it may be due to the lack of a check ball in the oil filter. Motocrafts are the only ones for the 3 valve I have seen with this check ball.If it goes away gradually as the engine warms - it's carbon or normal.

He has a V6 not a GT. This means its exactly what everyone is thinking but is afraid to say! BTW...If you read the fine print it looks like he'll have a Flow Master on his car....once Mom gets the chance to jack her up and bust out the tools.

Now that's funny, right there!

I'm the last person to make fun of what somebody posts, but good heavens I wouldn't have come to a forum with a bunch of tough guys, racers, and mechanics like this one and said that my mom started my car every morning. Surely he must be kidding us.
