I'm talking about the rear limit-slip differential.

Trac-Lock uses clutches...

Yep, it's clutches.

Viscous-type LSDs are typically used as the center diffs on AWD systems.

OK, I get it LSD does not = very bad drug. One of these days I am going to post a very wild dictionary based on all these crazy abbreviations.

i always thought a traction loc / limited slip were the same and as such would only lay down one strip of rubber. well, i decided to beat on my baby the other day and do a brake torque followed by a hellofa burnout. to my surprise i had two kick ass strips of perrelis going down the road. maybe i'll post a pic ;)

Traction lok is just the nameof ourLSD. You can rebuild a T-Lok to lock up pretty good but a tru-trac(Helical geartype LSD) is even stronger andsilent, no moaning around corners.

Only problem with the T-lok is, it does not hold up well under lots of HP, If your T-lok goes bad, it is best to replace it with a better unit like an Eaton or an Auburn pro.
