Default Spyder 4" Aluminum Drive Shaft

Just finished my install of my aluminum 4" driveshaft(by Spyder) about an hour ago!Been driving the **** out of her and just left a buddies house and all I can say is WOW!!!!!Install only took 45min and now that I know what tools/sockets are needed to do the job I believe I could do one(with a lift)in less than 30min!I did'nt have to remove my O-R x pipe,I did'nt have to do anything out of the ordinary at all to do the install!Just remove the old POS & put the new one in!I'm not expierancing any problems with rubbing that some people said I might have & I have an 80LB bag of concrete on the passenger side trunk for better hook on my launch!Just gotta say,Thanks Spyder for helping the S197 crowd here with your product!Keep up the good work!!!

If I remember correctly you will need a 13,10,8 metric & 1 1/16 sockets.A swivel socket will help also.Air tools are reccomended!As well as a lift!LOL!

Great news to hear. I've got my Spyder driveshaft as well I just haven't installed it yet. Can't wait to get mine in. I'll probably have the shop that's going to do my gear put it in then. I was very impressed by the quality of the driveshaft and from allreports it seems to perform which is the bottom line!
