Be aware of the fuel pump http://www.stangnet.com/images/stori...SBs/06-9-9.pdf Hesitation on Accel after long cruise. Not sure if your car falls under it, but its freaky when you're not expecting it.
Mine was after traveling thru Ohio, payed the toll at the end of the state, went to accel and she choked, hard. Some have reported dying out. But only last a few seconds.

Other than that, it was a blast!

I've touted this soo much on the MF people are gonna start wondering if I am being payed but...

Look into getting a clearbra. It is a 100% clear 3m Scotchgaurd tape that completely protects your car from just about everything on the road. Yes, it's expensive($500+ installed), however so is a refinish and repaint of your front end AND after that you are still unprotected. take a look at the link and see for yourself. The site shows the typical install process as well as the finished look. almost 100% invisible. Take a look at the videos at the bottom of the page!

I like the way that video shows the gravel pitting the 3M Scotchguard then they guy just peels it off. So if you don't peel it off, you have to drive around with a pitted finish? If you peel it off, then you have to pay another $500.00 to reinstall? Why not just maintain a good wax and buy a $10.00 bottle of touchup for any chips or scratches?

If you haven't made this trek at this time of the year (assuming you're taking I-77), monitor the weather ahead of time for West Virginia. Things can get nasty near the Virginia border if it's snowing.

Shouldn't have any problems. Depending on what part of the South Carolina you are coming to, maybe I'll see you on the road (or you will see me).
