Looking for some history on the silver and charcoal bullitts. Were they all charcoal 2005 - 2006, then a switch to silver for 2007?

FYI, my Jan 17, 2007 built Pony Package V6came with 17" silver bullitts.

Thanks

I bought my '07 in October and I hate the silver wheels. I was very disappointed Ford discontinued the charcoal wheels. To correct the factory mistake, I bought a set of take-off '06 charcoal wheels and tires. They look much better.

Your car looks like mine!Got mine in Dec.....was built in Nov. I love the color of the wheels....they make me think of the old Crager S/Srims my brother had on his '72 Torino.

07 Stang,

I'm a fan of the silver bullitts too. I think the color scheme looks great with Vista Blue, white stripes, and silver wheels.[/align]
I just need to get up the nerve to take it out of the garage. I don't think the car has ever been rained on, as we were at the dealer when the car carrier arrived with it. Not a single water mark on it.3 miles on the OD from the factory, 2 more where the dealer did a test drive around the business park,7 to get home, and a6 mile joy ride for us that night. It's sitting on 18.5 and we have had it a week this Friday :-)

Ordered Dec 20, 2006, built Jan 17, 2007, arrived at dealer and purchased Jan 26, 2007

'07 V6 Mustang Premium Vista Blue, Dark Charcoal cloth interior, Pony Package, Anti Lock Brakes, Anti Theft, and Interior Sports Apperance Package

I don't get this question?
Never was there a "charcoal" wheel! Charcoal seats...

In 2005 the stock Bullitt that came with the GT was called 17" Painted aluminum. Some sites call it Anthracite. There was a nice 17" Polished Bullitt that came with the spinner cap. It also came in "argent, black, beige and silver". Those were VERY rare and not available at many dealerships. If you have a car with those on the window sticker (they were dealer-added accessories) don't get rid of them!
I don't know what "argent" is!

+1. When I bought my take offs from Saleen, (since I never had my stock wheels....[:'(][:'(]) I was hoping for Anthricite, since that is what was common on Mineral Grey. Ended up with Silver Bullitts, and glad about it.....

I think the silver bullitts were because they wanted newer owners to feel that they had something different prior to other years... plus they added the 18" chrome ones just incase you didnt like the silver... I have my stock wheels and my silver bullitts... my stock ones i use in the winter (rainy season) and my bullitts for the summer (dry and sunny)....

Just using the description that some of the take off sites use, such as this one
