Default Roush Spoiler/ Trunk GT Badge

I just bought the roush spoiler and wanted to ask if anyone knows how to get the stock one off? Does the stock one use the same holes? Do I have to drill a hole for the side part of that spoiler?

Also how do I get the trunk GT badge off?

Just thought that I'd ask before I start tearing things apart

Trust me, it's way more fun to just tear things apart.

I know that the trunk badge is held on with 3M tape, and the spoiler has tape and 2 bolts that shoiuld be accessible through the trunk lid.

trunk badge also has 2 pins. Open your trunk and there is a plastic piece that holds the trunk light. Pull really hard and this piece comes off unlock the pins. Running a fishing line behind the badge to pull it off. Spoiler as stated has bolts and tape

So the spoiler is 3m tape and 2 screws... do I have to drill for the 2 side parts?

yea you will have to drill for the side parts of the spoiler as well as additional holes for the center piece, and no the badge has nothing to do with the spoiler man, the directions that come with it are nice and easy to understand and has templates for alignment and all your drilling needs.

It's interesting we are talking this matter because I've seen roush packages at the ford dealership with gt emblems on the back deck lid.

Never thought this phone photo would get so much use! Here ya go!
I take it the instructions on your new spoiler are as bad as all the other companies' instructions?

Moses,
Actually, the factory spoiler is 3M tape and 4 bolts. You can see all 4 nuts for the spoiler when you open the trunk. Remove those nuts, use either fishing line or dental floss between the spoiler and the trunk lid.

The rear badge, if you really need to take it off, is only 3M tape. Same fishing line or floss process, maybe with a blow dryer thrown in to ease the grip of the 3M.....
