I do not think you should have a problem. I drove my car (in 2005) from the dealer in GA to my house in NY the first 2 days I had it, this was about 900 miles. Just take it easy and don't floor it. I had no problems at all.

Nobody's mentioned it so I will.
Be sure not to use the cruise control for the first 1000 miles as it will not vary. We don't have that adaptive type they have on the BMW's that will slow you down when someone pulls in front of you and then speed back up when there is room.

DO NOT EXCEED 150 MPH THE FIRST 500 MILES.

Good advice here. Drive normally - especially on the brakes.
