Pretty sharp car. You might save money and have fun doing the things yourself.

ORIGINAL: AMBmustangGT

well, i've been looking into buying a mustang like this from the dealership and i was just wanting to know what everyone thought of it

07' GT black (automatic) w/ black leather
silver rally stripe
razzi body kit
billet grille
3' exhaust tips
20'(i think) american racing wheels
low profile tires (dont know what they are...sry)
silver dash kit
chrome mirrors
chrome door handles
chrome taillight covers
window tint

i know its all cosmetic, but im not really looking into doing much power wise, at most i'd do a K&N, performance chip, and axlebacks

*this isnt the mustang im going to buy, the dealership sends them to a local company and they do all the aftermarket stuff, but you still get the ford warranty on all of the parts

as far as the differences i'd like, no chrome mirrors, no chrome door handles (although i think the taillight covers look really good), 1' smaller rims(so i can get a tire w/ a bigger sidewall) that dont show through as much,

so....just wondering what everyone thinks, all opinions are open. tell me what you like, tell me what you hate ....AMBmustangGT
hey man what dealer is that? lol if u dont want it i'll consider it, the price isnt bad and its freaken hott automatic? weird but good still

again, thats not the exeact mustang im getting

i still get to pick each and every part that comes on it, but the bonus to getting it al before you buy it is that ford warranties all the parts just as long as the car itself, and if you have a problem w/ any of that stuff, then just bring it back to the dealership. and also, we might lease the stang so if you do the option from the dealership i dont have 6k in extra parts invested that i dont have a car for anymore

and as far as trans, i wanted a stick, but my mom and sis will have to drive it to and they for their life cant drive a stick, + it makes insurance go up that much more, and that could be the reason i dont get a stang is b/c of the insurance for a 17 year old (could be 18 by the time i get it though)

but good thing is, i have a completely spotless record, no tickets no nothing (knock on wood)

manual transmission makes insurance go up, correct?
