Yeah, it did chop it a little, didn't it? I was using the magnetic selection tool, and it was having trouble following the edge of the tire in the shadow.

You shouldn't be driving around with your tires photo-chopped like that, it looks very dangerous. What is your set up now, is it 17x1.5?
