If it were me, which it isn't, I would definately go for the power before shifter. Get the CAI and tuner first, you'll be glad you did and it is night and day difference. You can have it done in 45 minutes That is a cheap time/hp mod.

Have you ever missed a shift? One day at lunch, I was getting on it and missed the 2nd to 3rd shift twice in a row. I odrered my short throw shifterthat night.

What good is more power when you can't get her into 3rd, no missing now, with the Hurst installed.

Now I'm ready for a CAI & tune.

Went with the Hurst first. What good is extra HP/Torque if you have to wiggle the "Ball Park Frank" wobble shifter to find 3rd, no maybe it was 5th, no I think it feels like 3rd.....Oh what the hell just find a gear that fits cuz that damn Civic with the fart can just blew by you! Of course you can always double clutch the upshift and down shifts like it's a freakin' Kenworth with a 13 speed Roadranger. That way you'll have time between gears to acutally find the "gate" and hit a gear. Hopefully the one you want.

First get the CAI & Tune from Brenspeed, after that you will definately want the Hurst Shifter, and after that ......and so on, and so on, and so on, once you start theres no turning back you will be hooked. I'll see you at MA meetings.
