RE: Let my mom drive my Stang today...
the day i got my car my mom wouldn't let it go, she had to drive it. problem is she hasn't driven a stick and years, well she finally naggs me enough so i give her the keys. i wasn't brave enough to get in the car with her though cuz i learned my lesson when i had my '93 5.0 that i let her drive. well i see her fly by a few times and that really didn't bother me but when she decided to pop 1st around a corner and JUST missed a telephone poll i decided it was time to get her *** out of the drivers seat. i still have nightmares about that

My wife has driven my car twice...
First time I let her drive was in a parking lot.....Trying to impress me because she drivesan equally powerful V6 Honda Accord (sarcxasm)...from a dead stop she cranks the wheel to right (in first) and we do a giant burn out and get sideways. Something she has never done before.
Second time she drives it, she rams into every single pot hole on the road and then gets mad because i am telling her not to run intopot holes which means I am telling herhow to drive....
The solution is quite simple. She will never drive the car again.

What's funny about this is that I'm enough older than some of you here to BE your mom, and I'm the one in my family who won't let anyone else drive my car.
My husband scares my to death when he drives, no matter what he drives, and if I can get away with it he won't drive my car again, ever. Just...no.
