You talking about an auto-stick? Not that I've seen, but it would be extremely cool if they did, I'd love to have a manual at times, but bought the auto because I HATE shifting in city traffic.

some stinkin import vcars offers semi auto shifter like masdaz and accuras..i hope they do that in mustangs too!..so automatic could do fast accelerations or can tweak the rpm to 5 or 6..i think automatic trans shift @ regular rpm like wen it reach 4500 rpm? or 3500 rpm..give me an update guys ..please

no i mean a autoshifter from factory..i dont know installing mods my..i just want a autoshifter from the dealer

so how was the auto mustang gt runs?

the autos run pretty good, compared to the 5spd they are kinda dogs, but with a tune you can get rid of most of the throttle lag in it and firm up the shift points to make closer to the same performance. Overall, yes, it's a mustang so it does run great though

I love my GT auto. The tranny is greatin my opinion.

I totally agree with the tranny doggin at times tho, but drop 'er out of OD and the doggin shallows up.

That'd be nice, to see a His & Hers shifter in the Mustangs...I considered going with the automatic, but the dealership didn't have any GTs with automatic and cloth seats (I don't want leather seats; I live in a town where the summer regularly sees triple digits. I don't feel like sticking to the seats or burning my flesh because I had to sit on a cow's skin) that I could consider. Plus, I didn't feel like paying the extra $$$ for an automatic, when I'd been driving manual transmission vehicles for the last 10 years on a fairly regular basis.
