Default Little dissapointed, but it's all good

I have just recently gotten my new job making roughly 1300$ a month. and am beginning to rethink my choice to keep my focus and getthe mustang. so i took a lil trip to nationwide today to get quoted for the mustang i might get...and needless to say im gonna be waiting a while lol...293$ a month for the GT, but the V6 is about 200$ a month...i currently pay 154 on my focus. so now im on the look out for a used GT, are there any problems i should look for in an 05?...i heard the 05s where bad for hood rattle and some other things. so im torn between keeping my focus and getting the stang.
i kinda wanna know how much different the insurance price would be between the 05 and 07 stangs...i forgot to ask and dont really feel like driving back up there lol.

i apologize for the fact that i kept on the same subject as my other thread but i want to take everything into consideration and notmake too bad ofachoice.

How can you afford a GT on1300 month? Depends on alot of factors...living with parents, parent helpng out, etc. I make 4 times that much per month take homeand i drive a V6. Not saying I cant afford the GT but theres are other things to spend money on.

What?!?!?

How old are you? That's more than what my insurance is, and I'm 16. [&:]

im 18, live with parents but they wont help me. im guessing the reason my insurance is high is cause i got 3 points on my license for running a red light.

You could possibly. Do you have any big expenses? Are you going to finance your car?

Then I would say go for it. But make sure you wont have any huge expenses like college funds, or house payments, etc.

I would check out some local banks for a loan, you are 18 and don't need a parent to co-sign it. You never know what you can find out there.

EDIT: Don't listen to xbone... If you are responsible, a GT is fine. You only live once. [&:]

I barely make $1300 a month and my monthly payment is $500.

I say go for it, I can't save any money every month, but I'd do all over again if I could.
