How often do you check oil & tire pressure?

How often do you check oil & tire pressure?
This is my first Ford. I have 18" rims, 32 psi all around but found significant variances when checking the pressures (cold) this morning for the first time in two weeksand it made me wonder what my "routine" should be for small items of automotive housekeeping like oil and tire pressures. I know the car has sensors and cars in general require a lot less of this kind of vigilance than before but I'd like to stay on top of this and would appreciate knowing your thoughts.

funny you should bring this up. i bought an 06 GT in late october and just checked my tire pressure a few minutes ago for the first time. had to add about7 lbs per tire. they were at 25 lbs. i should have checked them as soon as i bought it but? to busy having fun driving it. so now i will go back to my normal routine and check them monthly. from spring to summer to winter tire pressures change somewhat. monthly is what i recommend. good luck whatever you decide to do.

For me I check oil and other fluids weekly. I check tire pressure every other week. Only takes 5 minutes and can save a lot of trouble and expense later.

I thought I was doing ok getting this one instead of the old fashioned pen-slide type, but the recepter part looks broken and it won't stop letting air out when I check my PSI.
Can anyone name a specific one and a webpage?
