I'm new to the forum, so forgive me if this has been covered recently, but were any of you disappointed to find on your Premium GT that only the front seats are real leather but the rear seats are vinyl? I had my 05 GT for some time before I noticed that Ford had skimped out on the rear seats. For what a Premium GT cost, I think they could have put leather in the back too.

ehh, i think the rear seats are fine, i didn't notice a difference. they are very comfy haha.

Marlin rifles rule. I dont even think the front seats are leather, more like "pleather." Cheap *** stuff. Look under the floor board, the carpet stops short and all the wiring is hangin out.

They are sold as leather trim seats, gotta read the fine print.

I love a good back seat joke as well, but I'd say that if you can do anything much entertaining in the backseat of an '05-07 Mustang, you have amazing flexibility or a powerful tolerance for discomfort. That big wall of a hump in the middle would make activities difficult at best.

Thanks for the Marlin thumbs-up. I've taken a lot of deer here in Alabama with both the 336 in .30/30 and the 1894SS in .44 Mag.

While the Mustang is pleasing in many ways, another area where Ford skimped out was not putting a keyhole on the passenger's side door handle assembly (an issueI'm sure manyhave mentioned in times past).

yep, after almost 2 years my "leather" seats are not holding up as well as the ones in my Mazda did.
And I can't tell you the # of times I have wished for a keyhole on the passenger side! Like everytime I go to put my car cover on and forget to remove the lock from the cup holder. I put it on from the right side and hate having to use the remote to unlock the car late at night. The chirps are a little loud.

So I wonder what "parts" of our leather trim is animal hide. I didn't know the backs were not leather either, and I've been putting leather cleaner/conditioner on them like a DA.

Is there a freakin shortage of cows?
