I've heard knocking here and there before, well MAYBE, perhaps in a low gear going slow..

The moral of my story is that my 5speed GT does not have anything noticeable in any gears to where I can say I know I'm hearing things. YOu definately have an issue.

final nail in the coffin =
spoke to shop foreman
confirmed with him that they sourced the sound to the tranny, nothing before (motor), nothing behind (driveshaft)
he said no other work would be done at this point until something blows up or drops out of the car
at this point, ive got a new transmission, with the same sound, so who knows, could be the nature of the beast
that being said, ive loaded on the 87 octane tune from b-chips + C&L intake and im loving it
lets just hope my tranny holds together, and if it doesnt, lets hope it blows during the 5 year powertrain

Lets hope they never know you modded it because then they're in the clear.

(I realize people say they can't deny warranty without proof of mods causing the prob, but you have to remember, their word is their proof and unless you have the resources and time to take them to court then their word as their proof is all they need)

Bad advice...
You can find the 3650 for $600-$800 all day long.....If you are worried about warranty's either learn to work on your car or do not mod your car
