New exhaust break in

Hey I just got a magnaflow exhaust put on, and the dealer said that it'll take some time to break in before it sounds better. How long does this take? Anything I should do in particular in driving to encourage it to sound meaner? haha

It will take a good month or so. After about 4 weeks I could hear my MRT was a lot better. I just drove around normally and took a 200 mile road trip 2 days after the install. Its been 7 months now and its got a solid sound.

when i put mine on it was a little quite then after a month it did get more of a deep tone to it and now its just how i want it....

Same here and the sound was great from the start but after a while it deepened and improved even more. I also developed a little drone at 1800 RPMS but it is not terrible at all like others have mentioned with others types of mufflers.
