Default GT500 hood and rain

I like the way the GT500 hood looks but wouldn't there be problems with rain (getting in the engine bay)

I was just washing my GT and noticed a few small scratches (probobly caused by rocks on the road) and I hope to fix the scratches but I like the GT500 hood so I might just replace the hood with a GT500 hood

I think it would look great if that was done and xbone is right about the water. My WS6 has the scoops and it never had a problem with water getting in the intake.
