#$#WTF are these mods even worth it
I have 3.73 gears and a 3000 stall converter plus c&l cold air intake plus sct 95 otaine tune. Now these are pretty impressive mods arent they well i raced a manual gt and it felt like i was standing still and he only had a sct tune i know the guy. See from a stand still my car flies and i would easly beat him i knowthat because i beat many from a stand still but for somereason after installing these mods i feel like i lost my top speed. when it comes to top speed it sucks i maxed my speed up at 240 kph and he just kept moving forward. Why am i losing top speed. I have an auto by the way and he had a manual.

gears...you gained down low but lost up top. You did not realize that before putting them on? Not sure what the stall converter does or the 95 octane tune as we only have 93 over here.

The top speed in our cars is somewhere near 200 stock (although drag limited to much lower) and even with 4.10s it only drops it to... 170-ish area if I can remember right... but obviously, if you "maxed your speed" then your cars top speed is still computer limited and his isnt... which is why he passed you. If you werent comp limited he would not have passed you because your intake and tune more than makes up for the difference in the auto/man drivetrain loss.

it could be the gearing also, he may have 3.55 or lower, also a manual shifter can red line each gear or more due to he can shift when he wants to and your computer shifts automactilly. Maybe next time dont put the car in drive and shift the gears yourself.
