Default RE: question for those of you w/ body kits

What I've bee around a while, I'm almost always here -- dam I have no life

Anyway I have never scraped on my kit since I had it installed, speedbumps depend on how rediculusly high they are. If you are concerend then avoid it and if you can't then take it at an angle and slow, if you go over fast then the suspension will recoil the sides into the speedbump (have done it in past cars).

Anyway since everyone else posted pics :P

Yea its been posted before but you know you wanna see it again :P

Yea I have the Street Scene Gen 2 kit on and Pro-Kit springs and I must say the only time I bottom out on a speed bump is if I have an extra like 250-300lbs in the car.

The damn lil rocks from the highway is what **** me off!

Hey whats going on. I would recommend going with a Saleen. The kit looks great and I have a site for you where I purchased mine and got it for a great price. Promise it won't disappoint you and you will love the price.

Yea, def. check out www.undergroundmustang.com or you can pm me to find out how much i paid for my body kit with exhaust and we can see if it's close to how much your looking to spend. Hey man like i said give them a call or email them because i'm sure they will be able to negotiate and work with you.

most of them dont come painted... and i dunno if i would suggest getting it pre painted because the shipping might scratch it or the quality would be the quick and easy paint job....

i got a good deal on my body kit because i didnt but it from just one website... i pieced it together myself and found the cheapest prices that way... plus if i would have bought the whole kit i wouldnt have been able to mix and match parts...
for example i wanted the street scene gen 2 front fascia but wasnt a big fan of the gen 2 rear... so i got the gen 2 front from one website and the gen 1 rear from another website... both sites had different prices .... just look around...

Guess that means I'll have to leave my wife at home.

(kidding -- I don't have a wife)

Default RE: question for those of you w/ body kits

well since the stang im looking at has a razzi body kit on it, i have a couple of questions

1. do you ever scrape it just driving around the city
2. what about speed bumps and driveway entrances, how hard is it?

any other problems you seem to have w/ the driveability of it
#1 No
#2a Speedbumps No
#2b driveway no.

I would on 2b above but having body kits on 4 of my last 5 cars you get use to how you handle it. Shopping centers with a very deep dip prior to entrance makes me turn my wheels to hit it at an angle. No Problem as I have been doing that for years. 12% of all centers have this problem which is not very much in my area or travels.

My driveway has a big drop off for rainwater. I never hardly ever scrape as I never hit it straight on from the front.

Trial and error is your best friend.

Over all I am not effected by the body kit. Drastically lowering you car would not work with a kit imo.
