My local dealer said that they will stop taking orders for the 2007 in June or July and will have the 2008 Models readily available by October. So maybe they are gonna be a bit late this year.

He's full of it. Most salesmen don't know s**t. They will be building the 2008s in June.

I would be hard to believe that they would change a body that is selling so well. It could prove fatal to sales. They got a winner with the S197. I think they will keep it for a few more years at least.

It's called "change for the sake of change", and I'm sure they'll be dumb enough to do it (not all at once, but bit by bit...).
They're afraid that people will want everyone to see that they're driving the latest model car- God forbid their neighbors would think they're driving one that's 3 or 4 years old...........
Color me cynical.

Well is there an "official" time that anyone knows of? I mean we are all just speculating unless there is a specific time. Logically speaking, you would think they would have to stop production of 2007 around June or July to fully gear up, maybe earlier. I was just posting what the guy said....but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until I know differently, just like I treat everyone.

So, the Mustang will not undergo a a redesign until 2010, correct?
