41kminus what I paid for my car. I'll take the difference and make a more badass car. It's still a good looking car.
+1.

you do realize, that for the price of that shelby GT you posted, you could have a very well optioned GT (leather, satellite radio, etc) with an intercooled whipple supercharger and suspension upgrades?

just a thought

you could probably have a roush supercharged....

Its the idea of the matter that they'll be limited production

and it is the shelby gt not the gt350...although it looks exactly like it....

very good point. but if your buying the car to mod or for a daily driver or both, not really much of a point in paying 41K.

you could get a roush 427 R.

You pay a lot for this car for the name on it, limited number(hence future value), and not for the added performance.

Yeah so get a gt and buy the ford performance packs and save over 10 thousand. By the way the base model corvette with 400 horsepower cost 44 thousand dollars. Ford still and never will get it right.

I agree with Scotty here.

This is something I'd spend my millions on to collect. I'm no millionaire, so it comes down to value.

heres what i think: anyone that wants a shelby and doesnt want to pay marked up prices, just wait til dodge and chevy released their stocked superpower muscle cars and you'll see how ford will stop marking up the shelbys in order to compete with them.

Very sharp indeed. I like it but it is over priced. I wonder what dealers are going to say now about the warrenty being that FORD installed a CAI and a tuner to the car they sell?

very true. you can do all of that stuff to a normal gt for a lot less, but the guys who own the shelby gt will sell it for a lot more down the line

yeh well dodge and gm both said they dont know how ford is able to sell the v6's for as cheap as they do and gt's as well.
Also, these should be like 34-36k...a mediary b/t the gt500 and the stock gt.

The GT-h's are going for 60k!
