Default Shelby Series II

My best friends father inlaw owns a 67 Shelby and he invited me to one of the Shelby/ Cobra meets tonight. There were a ton of old school Cobra's & Shelby's and they also had a Shebly Series II which I have never heard of. Appearently the car was made by Shelby in the early 90's but it was made terrible. They are making changes to it now before it gets released... the car sounds incredable and is suppose to have 500 RWHP... it is supercharged and weighs about 2800 pounds. Here are a few pics that I managed to take off my cell.

I remember that one, Shelby was going to produce it but it fell off the map, probably cuz the price was going to be more than a Viper which would smoke it.

Apparently the Series II is new modified version of the Series I released in the early 90's. The first one didn't go over too well, especially considering they were a motor from a compony going out of business.

In school a friend of mine's father had one, looked good but wasn't worth the hype or the sticker

This is one is supposed to be in the $100,000 range... so about 20 grnad more then the viper. The motor that was in that one was the oldsmobile engine with a bigger supercharger but they said that they were going to take it out and put in someting new. I dunno that I Viper would take this one -- The Series II is about 400 pounds lighter then the Viper and put's is supposed to (according to them) put down 500 RWHP.... I guess we'll see what happens if they make it good and then test the **** out of it.
