Default Finally hit 20 and the GTA's got to rumble

Yes, it finally hit 20 degrees today and I took her out for the first time with the GTA's installed. Very schweeeet sounding and no drone. And btw it started right up after sitting another 2 weeks, of which most was below 0.

Do you find a big difference from stock mufflers?? Is it really worth it? How about power??

I thought there was quite a difference between the stockers and the GTA's. They're not loud, but they have a nice, deep aggressive tone to them. The fit and finish is excellent, and the tip look great!

As for power, I really didn't notice any change, positive or negative. If you're looking for that 2 chamber Flowmaster sound, though - these are not the mufflers to get.

The tone is much deeper, not a power adder though. I am on the highway a lot when it is out and did not want too loud. These are just right and they look great also.

Would be nice to hear those in person. I've watched few clips of that exhaust and it always seem to have kind of high tone, not even close to deep sound. Is it just the mic of the video camera that makes the tone so different, usually comments are that GTAs have deep sound.

Maybe some of the clips you've seen are of the Shelby GT or GT-H which has the X-pipe in addition to the GTA. The X-pipe will take away some of the deep sound and make it more raspy from what I read on this forum.

The GTA's are inexpensive and they provide a nice solid tone with the added feature of a very good looking exhaust tip. IMO they aren't as loud as the Ford racing stingers, but then again there is absolutely no drone at all with the GTA's. After six months with the Ford racing stingers droning at 1800 rpms I cried "uncle" and made the switch. Then again I'm an old guy so...well you get the idea.

The Gtas are quieter than my stock mufflers were.
