that's what I figured, but I want to make sure I can at least get it to the dealer to get reflashed you know....

Well Matt was one of the lucky ones that didn't have to have the re flash, I'm a little hesitant on a public forum todivulge my top secret info for the cluster upgrade for fear others may learn just how simple it is, then not purchaseparts from me, then my girls will go shoes less and anyone who knows me wouldn't want that to happen. hahahaha
Real simple everyone, if you have the wire for the message center switch you can do this upgrade, if after you install the cluster and the switch if everything doesn'twork perfectly you will have to go to dealer and ask them to have the "as-built" info down loaded, most of thetime they can just use the hand held scan tool retrieve info and down load it back into the new cluster, if that doesn't work they will hook it up to the WDS, look up the "as-built" info and down load it into the new cluster. I have been told they do not access the main processor(PCM) the cluster has its own processor and that is where the info is downloaded.
done deal, happy camper. return core using pre-paid DHL label, call me, I track shipment, then issue core credit. Go to web site phase Ed in public forum and help him sell more parts, girls get new shoes. everyone is happy.
Now for all you Mustang owners that have been on the fence about this because you were unsure or thought this was going to be a pain in the rear, visit my web site and order it now!
