Yes, Ford messed up and should have color keyed the mirrors to the color of the car from the factory...

Not the best pics of black, but they match the car like they are supposed to and no one sees the cheap grainy plastic. Theygo unnoticed, which is the whole idea.

I'd be nervous painting the trim. I would think after a couple of years it will start to peel. How did u prep the trim?

I'd be nervous painting the trim as well. No point on a black car anyway so I stayed away from that idea.

I'm digging up this thread since I got my Vista Blue. I am thinking of painting the window trim and mirrors. Reason being the plastic
trim almost looks gray against the VB and not appealing. I want it to look BLACK or maybe even VB. Anyone one else?
