Default Recaro Seats - More Pictures

I installed the driver's seat (Recaro Style line, black cloth). It has the manual slider and adjustable lumber and side wings (lats).

Let me know what you think of the Recaro vs the factory passenger seat.

Seats are abit firmer than the stock and I'm sure I will miss the power adjustment. The adjustability of the side wings and other pieces make it much more supportive vs the factory low bolsters, etc. About 8lbs/seat lighter.

I plan on installing the passenger seat tomorrow, but thought I would give the group a comparison shot.

The factory seats aren't for sale.

I intentionally ordered cloth in my GT Vert, as I plan(ned) on replacing them with aftermarkets. Just out of curiosity....what did those skin you? did you get the back seat too?

Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't even know the factory seats had that strap thingy for the seat belts to make it easier than reaching way back to grab it. I may rig something like that on my new seats.

Theseatsare about $1K each with brackets and sliders. I don't think there is a inexpensive way to make the front match the rear unless I do a rear seat. If you did a rear delete everything wouldwork nicely cosmetically.

I am half way through doing the passenger install, and I will take some more pictures. Overall I believe the seats make the driving experience more satisfying and for you tall drivers it sits lower (3 height adjustments). The factory seats are comfy, but don't cut it in the twisties.

It is just my opinion, but to me I would have them covered in matching charcoal leather. But the shape of them is very sweet.
