Well I just went ahead and removed them. I had picked them up used so the guy didn't make me pay for it yet. He let me try them out first. I have the mac prochamber off road. So putting the flows with that was loud. There was some sort of rasp coming out of the drivers side, very loud and obnoxious. Thats why I removed them. So I have the stock mufflers back on, but for some reason now the drivers side muffler is hanging to low. Wierd. I'll worry about that later.

And thanks for drooling over my car. lol

That is a CDC shaker system scoop.

Sorry for the delay in response. Missed this thread. Thanks for the props. The area you are talking about is blacked out, with a sticker, or decal if you will....I did it around the same time as I did the stripes. I kinda like the look as well. I got it from a guy on E Bay for about 12 bucks or so. Just do a search on E Bay for 2005 Mustang stripes. If you can't find it, let me know and I will look it up.

Thank you as well. It is a Roush hood scoop. I bought it pre-painted black, and got it from Lizzie over at Texas Hot Rods. Great price, great service...!!
