CAI & Tune: Which tune and octane are you using?

CAI & Tune: Which tune and octane are you using?
I posted this in another thread but I dont want to hijack the other thread:
My question is: For those using the CAI + tune combos, what tune (89, 91 or 93) are you using, what gas octane are you using and what is your elevation (approximate, of course).
Thanks.
We only have 92 pumps around here (Seattle).
Just for grins & giggles I did try the 93 tune (Brenspeed tune & C&L) for about 5 miles and found heavy pinging during heavy load/acceleration.
I changed to the 91 tune and found light pinging during heavy load/acceleration.
Today I might try the 89 tune to test for pinging and if it's not there then I'll just runthe 89tune until I can get it to a dyno.
I'm pretty close to sea level so I think the car is just running too lean with the 91 tune; I'm not sure if this is the same as what you mean by spark plugs"breaking down"?
(I wish I could safely run the 93 tune because for that short amount of time I tried it the car felt awesome!)

Thanks. What octane gas are you using and any pinging?
Brenspeed 93oct tune with 95mm tunable CAI and I'm in new orleans, BELOW SEA LEVEL

Ford 93 octane racing tune (part of the FRPP, which is the same performance package that comes on the Shelby GT-H).
It says 91+ on the sticker they put next to the Ford CAI (made by Steeda), but that's because not every state has 93 octane, and when I called the Ford Motorsports installer to ask him about that he recommended that I always use 93 octane whenever possible.
Not sure what elevation I'm at in South Jersey, but seeing as I'm about 25 minutes from the ocean and there are no hills, I assume it's sea-level.
NO "pinging" whatsoever- and my car runs PERFECT at every load...!

My car is fragging spark plugs with the brenspeed 93 tune. Nobody else seems to have this problem. I dont know what else to think other than the tune is out of whack. Brenspeed says no way.

Brenspeed 91 tune with K & N CAI. Elevation is between 15 feet and 1,000 feet on a daily basis. Had to have Brent modify the tune so it would not ping on 91 or 87, but it runs great since.
A suggestion to all you California drivers - be very careful with your tunes if you are not dyno-tuned. 91 octane here is not like 91 octane elsewhere - it's actually less, since our gas is so crappy. Listen carefully for the ping. Sometimes you can't hear it due to road noise, etc., but really listen for it. I'm ultra-critical on timing (I also own a 500-horse Plymouth Road Runner), so I notice these things.
