Default BMP + BMR + MT DR's = 1.454 60'

Yep that right tonight at one of my clubs private track rentals I hit a 1.454 60' on MT 275/40/r17 DR's.. I dead hooked and even bogged a little on it. Could have given it more.

Here are the 4 run slips I have in front of me, there are a few more but I think they are still in the car. the 2 best are here and thats what matters.

60' ____ 1.454 ____ 1.843 ____ 1.852 ____ 1.848
330 ____ 4.919 ____ 5.303 ____ 5.335 ____ 5.351
1/8 ____ 7.785 ____ 8.150 ____ 8.211 ____ 8.228
mph ____ 86.58 ____ 86.93 ____ 86.14 ____ 86.15
1000 __ 10.219 ____ 10.578 ___ 10.653 ____ 10.671
1/4 ___ 12.686 ____ 12.63 ____ 12.762 ____ 12.744
mph __ 109.38 ____ 109.44 ____ 108.85 ____ 108.80

DA was OK.. The temps cooled down but the humidity jumped up and dew was forming on the cars.

In a couple days when the video of the event and the pics are uploaded I'll see if they got the 1.454 run on video. I can't wait to see the launch.

I did not even toy with the settings on the shocks/struts at all tonight. Since it was a night event I did not feel like getting under the car to adjust the bottom of the shocks/struts so I left them to my street settings and kept the tops set to what I ran last night which stiffened the right rear abit more then the left.

A few race cars we let run and one oiled down the track (damn chevy camaro) and then we had a few others break. A fox body left antifreeze on the track which sucked as it was only 40 minutes before the end so only had one last run not hot lap allowed ( the 12.638 run was the last run)

The 1.454 60' could have been a low 12 second run but I was early and slow on the shift to 4th and the car was a bit out of the power band in 4th.. I need those gears to make the 26in DR's worth it on the top end. But an 8.15 @ 86.93 got me a 12.6 and the 7.785 @ 86.68 got me 12.686 so you can see that the run had alot more potential for the top end.

No cams here.. Just the mods in the sig..
I do have a full suspension UCA. LCA, PHB all with heim joints as well as Tubular K member and A arms plus double adjustable shocks/struts coil over setup.

Next I need the Aluminum DS, Gears (4.10's are going in) and a shifter and I should be able to hit 11's if I can dead hook like tonight.

Know where I can find one of these good driver mods..? I need to find one that can shift into 4th cleaner then me.. I suck on the long throw the stock shifter has. I also probably has to do with the fact that I'm used to only shifting upto 3rd when powershifting

I agree...it should help greatly and maybe shave a little more time off the top end. The gear will help everything too! Great time on the 60'! Must be a decent driver to get those numbers! Later J

Vidmond scored a 12.5 run on just Drag Radials, Intake & Tune, Short throw shifter and 4.10 gears I do believe.

On the 1.45 60ft run you definately had a low 12 second pass working. The 1/8 mile et on that run confirms this.Nevetheless those were awesome runs and i hope to see you hit 11's NA. Get those 4.10 in so you can get the car in to 4th gear alot soonerthan right before the traps. With a 4.10 gear and 26inch tall drag radial you should hit 4th gear just after the 1/8 mile at around 88-90mph assuming you shift at 6400 rpm.

Yea, I need the gears and a Drive shaft. I have heard of guys exploding the stock one so I don't want any part of that. so once I get teh DS the gears will go in at the same time.
