Diff between stock (aluminum) and fiberglass Hood

RE: Diff between stock (aluminum) and fiberglass Hood
well i live in the north so there is salt and rocks that bounce up and when they ding the fiberglass they show up white dots. The hood is also lighter and i found at higher speeds moves a bit but i dont go above a hundred to often and my hood fit great but i have heard that some hoods need a ton of love and tenderness to fit. Those are the cons, the pros are i have not seen another hood like mine and she looks mean. Its an eye catcher.

I'm not sure about aluminum hoods but I have had quite a few fiberglass ones. Do your reseach and buy a good one. 90% of the ones I bought were rasied up on the sides. Looked like crap. Some brands have a metal underside support which I think is better. Some are detailed underside also which makes for a far better look at Shows/Cruises. But you'll find the goodones are twice as much. $$$. So it's up to you.
