Default New Shelby GT in Driveway!

I did it! On Friday bought a new Shelby GT black w/ grey stripes, charcoal interior and black bullitt wheels. I can't post post pics yet 'cause it's sitting in the driveway covered with snow. Damn I thought we were through with winter in Virginia. So this morining after seeing the snow I got a cup of coffee and got on my computer to order a car cover.
Now the details:

FRPP power pak w/ tune for 91 octane, FRPP springs, dampers, torsion bars, mufflers and X pipe, 3.55 gears, Hurst short throw (I love this) and lots of body mods. I love the side scoops and the hood scoop is cool. The hood pins are for bling and I had to adjust them because the pins were vibrating out of the studs (no big deal). Perfect now!

But damn this is a nice car. It's my first mustang and 325 HP is plenty for me. The car handles like a race car. I love the Hurst short throw shifter. It also sounds awesome. Running through the gears even mildly turns heads.

My last 8 cylinder car was a '70 Chevelle SS 396. Since then I've been driving 4-beaters. I've never enjoyed driving a car so much and '05-'07 mustangs look better than anything else on the road, period.

Awesome car! I'm sure you'll really have fun with her.

I've looked at a couple Shelby GTs in my area, but the damn dealers have them marked up more then GT500s. Insane...
