Default Repair Manual ??

Anyone know of how to get your hands on a "repair manual" for the '05-'07's ?
I don't think that Chilton or Haynes have one out yet. I was told it usually takes about
5 years. So I would assume that you would have to get one from a dealer if they
would sell you one?

You can get a DVD copy of all ford vehicles here. You have to set the date back on your computer but hey, it work and has all the info to completely build you car!

Thanks everyone! very helpful 'howarmat' - might zero in on that one as I'm sure
a dealer will want $40-50 for one. Nice name 'billyjo' "OHA KA WATO"
BTW my dog's (AKC - GSD) middle name is "SHONKA" which is Osage for 'dog'.
Lot more imaginative than my Mustang which just has '05stang' as a personal plate.

I agree! Get the Helm ones only.(Expensive, but worth it) The official OEM repair shop manuals. Chilton and Haynes are too generic, they aren't worth a crap.

The one i listed above is the HELMINC version, for all the ford vehicles. It has all the pdfs but you have to download them just like from the helminc site if you want to. I guess when you but the service program it has a expiration period that is easily bypassed by resetting the computer date. If youy are constently accessing the manual then it probably not for you, but if you are like most of us and only need to use if once and awhile its not bad, you can just download the pdf and you wont have to run the program if you think you wil need the instuctions again.

OK Billyjo - for right now I'm just looking for any oil change instructions.
I assume that they're pretty standard, just want to see what their take is.
