Is the CAI worth it or just a good tune

RE: Is the CAI worth it or just a good tune
I do agree if you are going to get a s/c or turbo then it is kinda wasting your money. You do gain more mpg with an intake also, sometimes over 2 mpg, depending on where most of your driving is being done.
Also with ebay I agree that there are several scam products and people need to pay a little more and buy from our sponsors and someone who actually cares about customers.
1 last thing, if you can get 12-17 out of a CAI which costs 320 and 14-19 for a tuner and tunes that costs 400, then the cost per HP is about the same with the CAI actually being slightly less. Most vendors sell the combo for around 675 but since mods dont just add you get 25-28 HP in the end and it costs a little more per HP but you do get more HP and MPG in the end.
