FINAL TIRE QUESTION: BF GOODRICH KD's OR NITTO 555's?
im debating right now between the Nitto 555's (555R seems too much for a street tire) and the BF Goodrich KD's (most aggressive, good tire without being a full on drag radial).
-will 275's be good for the stock rim?
-should i order the same tires all around?
-any other suggestions on tires to buy?
what will fit on the stock rim? does nitto make the 555 in 275 size that will fit the stock rim? can someone give me the exact info on exactly what tire to order if i want the widest, stickiest one thats good for street use?

275's will be fine on a stock rim. No, you should not get teh same size all around. 275 is too wide for the front. A 245 or 255 is teh widest Id ever go on a stang. Have you checked out Kumho tires? Theyre actually VERY good tires, and theyre relatively cheap.

ehh, im kinda set on these 2. i've heard about kumho, but feel more comfortable with nitto or BFG.
so ill put 245's on the front and 275's on the rear i guess?

For a street radial, the KDW2's are excellent. Granted I have a lot of suspension upgrades, but I generally hit 1.68 and 1.69 60 foots on mine. They wear great and are good in the rain.

The Nittos are good and they are much cheaper than th KDs. I would go equal all the way around, I'm going NT555 255/50/17 on all four. You can go wider, there are some with 275 all the way around. What kind of driving are you going to do? If you plan on auto Xing it, stay away from the 275 on the stock rim width, there is too much overhang and bulge and they would be more prone to breaking the bead and blowing off the rim. If you are just cruising or hitting the drags once and a while, 275 on the stock width should be fine.
