I do not want to go into it again. But looking at tons of dyno results online from stock mustangs, on various dynos, factoring in a reasonable loss, we are at 320 at the crank stock.

Figure in the same reasonable driveline losses after a good intake and tune, and a 290-300rwhp car is putting down approx 365-370 at the crank.

Check this ongoing sheet.
http://home.comcast.net/~swieduwilt01/Mustangforums_Dynos.xls

First off, Not all dynos are the same so the average Stock RWHP looks like
Autos 255.0 HP 270.0 TQ
Manuals 265.0 HP 280.0 TQ

If I had more Stock Dynos it would be eaiser to get a better number.
Some are seeing 245 on a Mustang Dyno butthat tent to run low

If you have aDyno Sheetplease post it here....

Aren't newer cars supposed to go as fast or faster than those of previous years??? What's going on here?

The 2007 Frame was beefed up to support the 5.4L engine in the GT-500, this added weight lowered the numbers.

They redesigned the Strut towers, the 07 engine had some redesign to support future model stangs with the FRPP S/C (Cooling Plumbing redesign)
