I was just wondering why ford can not make a Mustang GT with something crazy like 400 hp from the factory. Chevy seems to be able to do it, the GTO, which is dead now. The new Camero will have the Z28 and SS which will more than likly have 400+hp. Every production GT that ford has produced has been under powered compaired to the competition. Anyone shine some light on this. I like how the Mustang GT comercial says "the most powerful GT ever" no ****. Its about time. A WS6=325 hpwill still probubly beat a new GT=300 hp. Someone explain this to me

You can get a Mustang with more power, it's called....Shelby. Kidding aside there's nothing wrong with 300hp. And you just guess with a new Camaro. If you want a fast Chevy open your wallet to 60,000 plus for a Vette. You can buy a Shelby for a lot less than that. Like people say. Horsepower is easy, all it's take is money. Something I don't have.

I like that ford has many different models for the mustang. I actually chose the GT because of its gas mileage over the GTO and it doesn't take preimum. If you want more power thier is always the GT500. Also the Boss that is comming is going to have 400hp.

The new camaro will have 400hp, it will also have a sticker price of probably $10k over what the GT's base price is also.

Well all the cars that came before the 05 GT+, Z28--Gone, SS--Gone,GTO--Gone,WS6--Gone.

There is a reason mustang is still around. Cheap peformance! You can do a few mods (less than 2k) and out peform, a stock Z28,SS,WS6 and the heavy GTO......

Ford is about making money,reliable cheap product....
