Look at itthis way 3/05/05 when I bought my Stang every dealership around here was marking up the Stangs by $5,000 I got mine at MSRP I considered myself lucky. I only wished there was such a thing as rebates for these cars. Bottom line is rebate or no rebate you will not regret owning one 2 years tomorrow for me and I still get excited about driving it.

Lucky me, I got the other end of the stick. Ordered in Oct 06 when the rebate was $500. Delivered in Jan 07 when the rebate was $1000. I got the rebate in effect at the time of delivery.

The hiller ford by me has $2500 off the gts sticker on the car and 4.9 APR. Im dead serious I live in wisconsin check it out yourself. They had a 2007 gt with a $25,500 sticker and its $23,000 with 4.9 APR plus you can knock a bit more off if you dicker. So about $21-22k for that mustang then with a little dickering. Only the hiller ford by me is doing that the other dealers are not. Its in westbend wisconsin. If you live in wisconsin go there for your mustang thats were im going when i buy my gt in a few weeks. They are cheap there and they have great interest rates. Theres even $1500 off and the 4.9 on the V6's.

I just bought an 07 GT, Torch Red, and got both rebates, $1000 and the $645, and $2000 off from the dealer, for a total of $3,600 off sticker.

I just ordered my V6 coupe on Valentine's Day (yeah, that made the girlfriend happy! [sm=badidea.gif]) On top of the X-Plan price of $22,500, I got locked into the rebate at the time of $1000 cash back AND 4.9% APR. Gotta love the Auto Show being in town...

You'll still probably get a rebate. It's when the 08 would be arriving (aug) that they stop. I ordered my car in April and there was a $500 rebate last year so you'll get something if you expect the car soon.
