Why not just buy them prepainted? $299 painted and they match the paint based on your cars vin #. It doesn't get any better than that. -Andrew http://www.silverhorseracing.com/web...ategory_id=255

RE: Flush Mount Rear SideWindow Louvers Installed
Maybe I can answer some of the questions. I am the owner of the red car on his website, first installed production set. First let me say, everyones car looks awesome with these. I think its a mod everyone should do. 2nd, as posted before, these are stronger than the glass. No way are you going to break these things. They are held in by the same stuff the glass uses. 3rd, the view being distorted a little, is easier to see through than the tiny slots left open by outer mounted louvers. Plus, nothing can get trapped behind the louver openings. 4th, I'm not a painter, but for the paint to stick I think adhesion promotor should be used. Then black so the body color doesn't show through on the inside. then maybe white primer, then body color. Then the clear of course. My painter did not clear the whole piece so there is a lip where the paint and tape was. But its ok, first set, what do you expect. lol. I love the look, many compliments and questions on them. Marcello is the man.
