No noticeable noise increase in colder weather although the shifter/transmission will stiffen up in really cold weather and before the car has warmed up. No big deal though.

I noticed a SLIGHT increase in cabin noise after I installed mine. I'm not sure why, but I love it. Car just growls and purrs now! Cant Wait for exhaust and CAI!! I have a birthday coming up soon if anyone wants ant ideas: www.brenspeed.com

One more question...

For those that already installed the Hurst shifter... did you swap out the stock bushing or did you opt to buy the Steeda Urethane Shifter Bushing??

When installing the Hurst shifter, is it possible to use my current shift boot and shift **** instead of the Hurst ****? I like the stock look.
