I thought the same thing w/ staggered wheels because of rotation and because it is a DD. But I think I am changing my mind and getting 18x9's up front a 18x10s in the back

With my bad back I can tell the ride difference with 16's to 17's but it depends on were you live too. Here in the northeast roads suck and bumps are everywhere. I don't think you want to deal with the different size front and back. That's a look that has the racer type appeal. You seem like your gonna be a driver and out cruising. Stick with the same size tires and you can rotate and get more life out of them. Enjoy some cruise nights in your area too, you'll meet a lot of nice people with the same interests.
