You can also just buy a stant locking fuel cap at your local auto store.

I got a stant at Advance Autoparts and it seems to be of pretty good quality.
I bought another one previously (afraid I don't remember the brand) that required me to break it into little pieces to get it off! One day the key would not let me unlock the doggone thing no matter what I did. The only way I can describe it to help you stay away from it is to say that it requires the key for both unlocking and for locking it (the stant only needs the key to unlock it, but it locks without the keyby turning it clockwise with 3 clicks).
