Default parasitic loss

What all accessories cause parasitic loss to your motor? And any ideas on how much ( hp) they rob? Does the air conditioner compressor cause parasitic loss when it is not on?

Just some thoughts I have.

Default RE: parasitic loss

The 5.0's were the worst for parasitic lost due to AC and such. The newer 4.6's has minimal loss when ac is on. The biggest is from your tranny, driveshaft and such. a Auto will have more loss than a manual. With 05's and up, with the heavier 2 piece drive shaft, i would say a manual has around 15% drivetrain loss(255rwhp) and Auto's would be around 20% drivetrain loss(240rwhp) but it can change from stang to stang. I've seen some dyno 255rwhp and some dyno 265rwhp with a manual tranny.
