Im 22 from pittsburgh pa and i pay 130 a month for a 06 v6, they wouldn't cover me at all for a gt but they said 330 a month if they would.I have a clean record andpay 30 month forcoverage on my monte carlo. I also have state farm....moving to houston in about 8 months, Hows cost of living out there.
Cost of living depends on your standard of living.
A few years ago, i was living with a roommate in a decent 2dbrm/2bath apt ($815/month) and had all the regular monthly bills and was getting by just find making $35k/year. Living alone with all the standard bills making $45k/year was working out good as well (rent was $777/month with covered parking spot). Check out www.apartments.com for the going rates for apartments. A 1bdrm/1bath, decent apartment in a good area will go for $500-$800/month. 93 octane is currently $2.55/gal.

Oh, and before i turned 25 (but after i was 21) my insurance on my 1999 V6 mustang coupe was $160/month. I have a clean driving record, no tickets, no accidents, no claims. Before I was 21, insurance was $260/month for the V6.

Its going to vary from everyone you ask, my estimates ranged from 1200/yr to 2k+ so the only way to find out is to get a quote from Geico, Progressive or whoever.

Which airport? There are 2 major ones in Houston. Hobby Airport and Bush Intercontinental Airport. Bush is on the North side of town and is a good area. Humble, Jersey Village, 1960-area, Woodlands, Tomball...all are good choices up there in the North.

As for Hobby...there are a few places within half an hour drive that are decent. I don't know a whole lot about them but to name a few, Pearland and Clearlake. I have a friend who i work with who lives in Pearland and the parts i've seen are very nice.

$800 a year from Geico for an 07 GT Vert. This is the 4th car on my policy and I live in the middle of nowhere and I'm "slightly" over 25.
