Default Picked up my '05 GT yesterday

Pics...

5-speed Manual Transmission
Premium package
Mineral Grey Exterior
Parchment leather interior with black door panel

I consider myself lucky to have found this car. It was either the first or second GT sold in my metro area. It was a preorder for a customer, but after delivery the deal fell through so I got it for sticker instead of the 3 or 4K markup that lots of other dealers are putting on these things.

The car drives like a dream. It is very smooth for a sports car. I wouldn't rank it with a Caddy in that dept., but it isn't at all bumpy. Acceleration is intense. I don't think I'll get used to it. Just taking off from a stoplight, not even trying to gun it, I feel the raw power and find myself quickly outdistancing the people behind me. Thank god for cruise control!

Factory defects-
So far I have found the following wrong that needs to be fixed:
1 - Interior panel under rear driver's side window is slightly seperated from the vehicle. When you are outside looking in and down you can see a gap.

2 - When opening the passenger side door you can feel the hinge bump slightly. The door itself doesn't appear to be catching on anything.

3 - Not really a defect, but the car seems to come standard with the soft brake pads. Many people don't care about this, but I was disappointed to find that after just my first 50 miles I could blacken my finger on any rim with the brake dust. I wasn't doing any hard braking either.

Nice, and you're lucky with the price. One dealer here had 2g markup. I bet you are getting lots of stares and looks when you drive it?

Looks great, the first picture makes it look like a slammed S10 or something...ahhaha

The thing about the brake pads, that's typical on all new vehicles... give her 100 miles and clean it off, you'll see far less accumilate on the wheel.
