$800 to fix this? Are they crazy?
I am not a body guy by any means, but $800 to fix this? This was the estimate I got yesterday from True2Form.
There is no damage to the fender, but they want to remove the headlight and bumper cover so they don't mess anything up, and spray the fender too. Does this sound kind of stupid to anyone else?

Here's the other part of it. You can see the damaged area right on the lower edge of the door. I guess I should explain what happened....
Working on the shifter to tighten the stupid bolts on the Hurst and put locktite one em, well the E brake was in the way, lowered it, didn't realize that in my garage, the car would roll backwards, so it rolled backwards with the door open and caught my lawn mower which sits 2-3 feet to the side. The door was hyperextended, and that's what caused the buckling that you see in the first picture. I think the front edge of the door caught a hinge. In the second picture...that's the damage done by the lawnmower..it's just that little edge area at the bottom. Luckily, I jumped on the brake in time to keep the door from doing structural damage.

RE: $800 to fix this? Are they crazy?
I had some scratches on my back bumper from a bad winter, and the local dealer wanted $600 to fix the scratches. I said screw it and got a takeoff GT bumper for $250 when I got the dual exhaust.
